Benefits to Aid the Thomas Family

 

Abilene Friends and Family, The Northside Chik-Fil-A, 1750 State Highway 351, Abilene,TX, well be hosting a Spirit Night for the Thomas family on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 6-8 pm. A portion of all sales from 6-8 will be provided to the Thomas family. Chik-Fil-A will also have donation buckets for people that want to give more, as well. On April 10th, Bubba and Amber were in a car accident, in which Amber lost her life, and Bubba was care flighted to Lubbock. They have a 20 year old son, and a teenaged daughter and teenaged son. Bubba was in surgery yesterday to repair his crushed pelvis and hip. He will be undergoing at least one more surgery this week. He and the family have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Please, come out to the North side Chik-Fil-A to help the family.

 

Another benefit will be held on April 27th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. to help the Thomas Family as well. It is a car show, sponsored by the Big Country Car Club, which will occur in the K-Mart parking lot.

Only at the Library

OMG... So, Damien waited out in the car while I was in the library returning books. I thought I saw a man walking around the library in just his underwear, but no one else reacted. I had only caught a peripheral, and the librarian returned to the desk with my holds. I figured if no one reacted, I must have been seeing things. Lo and behold, I get into Damien's car, and a man in a long sleeve black t-shirt, long black socks, black shoes, and black underwear walked right in front of the car. Damien said, "Nice legs" and started laughing. I wish I would have had my camera on the ready.
