Paramount Theater

Paramount Theater Box Office, Abilene, Texas
The Paramount Theater was built by H.O. Wooten, who was responsible for building The Hotel Wooten. In 1930, the Paramount was finished and opened. Due to the stock market crash, the cost of the construction of the theater was financed by H.O. Wooten himself. Wooten paid a total of $400,000 of his own money to complete the construction. The theater is gorgeous on both the inside and the out. The high ceilings are adorned with twinkling stars and clouds that float across the the theater. The theater is embellished with ornate art deco sconces and hanging light fixtures. This theater is a picture of elegance and would be well worth the money spent to watch a classic flick at. Believe me when I say my photographs do not do the theater justice.

Shooting with DJ

I am so happy for DJ. Every since I first met him, DJ has talked about wanting another Ford Ranger. He had one when he was younger, but there was an accident or something, which is why he no longer has it. Finally, we were able to buy DJ this Ranger. He decided that he would take me around to shoot some shots of the sunset and nature in his pickup. I hope that we will get to do this often. I had so much fun riding around with him, and taking pictures. I always find it is romantic watching the sun go down with the man I love, and I love DJ so much.
